Essential Information
Food Catering or Preparation
Our venue features a prep-only kitchen with warmers, coolers, sinks, prep tables, and a microwave. No ovens or stoves are available—only food prep and storage are permitted. You’re welcome to bring pre-cooked meals or use a catering service for your event.
Alcoholic Beverages
You may bring and serve your own alcoholic beverages, but you cannot sell them, charge a cover charge, or violate Ohio liquor laws.
Alternatively, a licensed bartender or a catering service with a liquor license may be employed to serve alcohol at your event.
Security
Deposit
A Security Deposit of $300 is due upon signing of the contract. There are no refunds of rental fees for canceled events. You may choose to reschedule your event within one year of the cancelled date provided event space is available. If you must cancel, and your event is not rescheduled, your Security Deposit will be returned to you within 20 days of notification.
Booking Information
Rates are for all hours used. Keep in mind the time you will need for setup and cleanup.
We accept event bookings starting January 1st each year for events taking place within that same calendar year.
Bookings cannot be made more than one calendar year in advance.
The Wright Van Cleve House will be closed for the following holidays:
New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve.
